1. Assessment
Your physiotherapist will assess your symptoms and be able to identify the cause and the best type of treatment for your condition.
2. Personalised Treatment Plan
Based on your assessment and diagnosis, your physiotherapist will then design your treatment plan.
3. Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy
An extracorporeal shockwave therapy machine, using a handheld soundhead, will deliver a specific amount of acoustic waves to the targeted area. The treatment usually takes between 10-20 minutes depending on the affected area.
4. Exercise Rehabilitation
Your physiotherapist will then prescribe a unique set of stretch and strengthening programmes to aid you in restoring function and reducing the likelihood of re-development.
5. Rehabilitation Monitoring
Your physiotherapist will monitor and review your progress throughout the rehabilitation process and make changes to your treatment plan if required.
